One of the diversions while studying engineering was hiding out in the university library reading history. One of the books that stuck with me had been presented to the library by the USSR Embassy, a history of "The Great Patriotic War". It was a real contrast to the books written in the other victorious countries (each with their own slants). There is a main road the other side of the hedge behind, I say crane it out of there and donate 5k to a local charity!.
