From my records, your M38A1CDN2 ECC 121201 was surplused out of CFB Valcartier in Sept 1987.
The CFR list for M38A1CDN2s runs from 07700 to 08499. The serial numbers run in sequence, but only in batches. So your M38A1CDN2 is in a batch from CFR 07795 sn 7105-96842 to CFR 07959 sn 7105-97006. I hope this helps.
