Default 19 Set pics

Here's some shots of the various bits. The first shows the factory supplied 11 set base bolted to the running board. The 19 set adapter plate is leaning loose above it. You have to remove the 11 set rails and install the 19 set ones using the same (outer) set of holes.

Then there are four rubber 'feet' that bolt onto the adapter plate and then to the underside of the 'Carrier No.22' which is what the 19 set sender/receiver is fastened to with the canvas strap. There is a secondary sheet metal plate with a junction box that also fits the same holes at the right (or vehicle rear) side of the set. The supply unit sits sideways on top of the sender/receiver held in place by two metal angles that are screws to the top of the set, two 'pieces packing' and a canvas strap.

Hi Bruce, I see you are still me hero!. Many thanks for help past and present, what I do need is a drawing of that metal plate the control unit bolts too, I made the vario bracket last week, will studying your pics in detail on my laptop later.

Hi, I would post the varo mount drawing but it's a PDF file and I can't work out how to post it GGrr#*+

Default Attaching PDFs

You can post PDFs using the same "Manage Attachments" screen as for JPG or other formats. The size limit is 244.1 KB.

Grant, The file is to big, if I email you the file, can you reformat it or something to post it?.
