Slightly off tangent, is Parkerising similar to Sheradising?
It seems that lots of British automotive nuts and bolts in the 1940s and 1950s were Sheridised rather than plated. It has do to with using zinc powder rather than molten zinc. And does anyone know how to do it? Last edited by Dianaa; 08-01-14 at 07:25.
