I enjoyed watching your short film, it was very impressive - well done mate. Could I please ask for the name of the music you played throughout it? Thank You Greg. p |

Some very smart photos there, sorry again that I just couldn't make it. I was kind of hoping that a Loyd was going to turn up. I have a few photos of restored ones in the uk from the late 1980s but they appear to have vanished!

Guys
I may not have been there with my carrier, but me commentary on carriers will live in on in the history of W & P. As I left the arena somebody asked me "why were those men driving around in mess tins" Ha ha !!! |

Not sure which is worse, mess tins or mini skips!! Those men were driving around because they wanted the carrier smile!! Well done in the commentary.

I was approached by a German chap who incidentally was dressed as a German soldier just as I was about to leave the arena in the carrier... He took great pride and pleasure telling me that his grandfather blew lots of these vehicles up in his tiger killing lots of British.... Have to admit I bit my lip real hard ! Suppose he has the right to be proud of his grandpa just as I was with mine
Listening to folk talking about the carriers spouting off utter nonsense about them made me laugh ! Even some of the organisers were clueless "here we have some T16 carriers, or here are some universal carriers they are very common" wrong wrong wrong... Seemed there was a bit of animosity towards the poor carriers. :-)
