The AOMC have run that service for many years.

I think it's too expensive for what you get .

The records are very muddled up and the service is run by volunteers . Many ex military vehicles were registered under weird titles , a Blitz might be recorded as a plain Ford tray for example . I know of a few private researchers who have gained access to the records , but it was a nightmare sorting through the mass of mismatched titles .

You supply a engine number and they might find the original reg number ..
big deal .. for that you pay a exorbitant fee . They don't have the previous owners names , those records were destroyed by VIC ROADS
