Hard to say , the military did use these utes . It could have been purchased new by a farmer, being a essential user, he was allowed to keep it .The colour code BGS doesn't appear in the Holden book. I've seen the 1941 army Chevy vehicles with the "Khaki" colour stamped onto that plate
