The two heaters have different NSNs, so it may be that the differences are more than simply who manufactured it. But of what I have seen on the one UH48E that hides out in the shed, the internal components were the same as the hunter heater used on the old 5/4 ton and the Iltis ambulance, as well as some were used on tent heater stands.
The MLVW SEV also uses a similar heater but of larger BTU. Many of the components are the same. I have a stash of parts for the old 5/4 ton van multifuel heater. If you post some interior shots of your heater's components, I can see if they are the same.
