I've driven early versions (90s) of these in the US and they were down right scary. You felt that if you stomped on the brakes they would fall over on their face. My brother had one that he and a bunch of high school students converted to electric power, bed was full of batteries and had a solar array on frame that could be tilled toward the sun. Very peppy acceleration but was limited to I think 40 MPH.

They even have had a 4x4 version, there is a 4X4 right hand drive in out area that I see couple time a year, the guy always has his golden retriever riding with him in the left hand seat. The dog is always sitting up very straight with that golden retriever grin on its face.

Interesting that they registered the trade mark Chevrolet CMP® me thinks their legal department didn't look very deep into that one. Also I didn't see on their page what they think CMP stands for. Just noticed that at one point it list it as being a 6 cylinder engine and on the specification page it says 3 cylinder so much for the ad department proof reading.
