I don't have access to my manuals for the C15TA, Fox and Otter right now but will check later. My impression is that the angled pads were a later version and the style used on the CMP (vertical face on the clutch housing with right angle brackets to attach the engine mounts to a horizontal face on the frame) were an earlier version. Again an (unconfirmed) understanding - that the angled rubberized mounts were developed first to address NVH in lighter duty vehicles.
