I can not comment on the length but this design was also used in British Valentine tanks and thus also Canadian Valentines. From there it was adopted for Ram tanks (all versions). It was probably also used in other British turreted vehicles too. The drivers seat of Rams was also inherited from Valentines and was almost identical to Daimler A/C Mk1.
As you are in NZ I suspect that you have a Valentine one. The part number would not change if the identical part were used in two applications but ANY change would need a new part number. David |
