Default 62512 = C30 4x4 ambulance

Rod,

The ARN 62512 is listed as a 3 ton Chev Indian Pattern ambulance of 134 inch wheel base, ie a 'Truck, Ambulance, 4 berth, Aust No.1'.

The type was actually based on the 134 inch WB, 8441, C30 chassis, but the Aust Army defined it as 3 ton with special springing. The chassis number of 62512 was 2844100178, confirming it as a C30.

I suggest the door and/or cab is off another vehicle if it is on the C15 now.

Don't have a clue about the star - not seen that before.

Mike
