Hi Bob,

The rations distributed by Operation Faust came from army depots so were regular army rations. The food supplied by Faust, Manna, Chowhound, by the Red Cross and by ship from Sweden was nowhere near enough to feed everyone properly, but the psychological effect was tremendous.

Food was rationed here till well after the war.
