I bought mine off Kijiji and had some friends in Alberta inspect it. Then it was shipped in a box trailer to Ontario. It had an Alberta VIN and registration, so plating it was easier. Yes it still had to be inspected as out of province but less trouble than a ground up rebuild.

I saw another one in New Brunswick which would have been significantly more work, but the lister sold it out from under my "I'll take it" message.

BTW, Dave and I have had great luck with new steel panels from Cameron Fabricating in upstate New York. I've posted here how well the crossborder adventure worked out.
