I posted this a while back on MLU and on a FB CMP page and is worth noting again. The cab mounting bolts are in the rare bolt category as shown in the attached. Contrary to popular belief they are not just engine mounting bolts. I added the Ford part numbers to the photo and as shown only one engine bolt, B 6047, is a generic Ford part (no asterisk). All the other ones are unique to Ford CMP's. One engine bolt is longer for the earth strap, and it too is unique to the CMP's. The height of the shoulders on the cab mounting bolts are different to those of the engine mounting bolts as is the height of the threaded parts. Sometimes there is no alternative for removing or they are so wasted away they snap anyway and would be unusable. Thats when a bit of ingenuity comes in to make a substitute. Cheers,
