Default service discipline issues

Seems having discipline issues wasn't unique in the Seaforth Highlanders. Even a VC winner got busted down too.

David Fairweather was a Private in Smokey Smith's section in England and was Smokey Smith's Platoon Commander at the time of the VC action. He told me that the story of Smokey bouncing up and down in rank is not true. David was also my first CO in the Seaforths in 1970.
