Default Tilly

Looks like a Austin tilly (?) in Sydney NSW , 1947.

If it is a Tilly, it is likely to be one of the Tillies imported in 1945 for essential civilian users . Although a fair number of the Standard variant have survived, the other three brands are very scarce. Newspaper reports indicate that over 1000 tillies were imported during 1945.
