AWM costs
The Australian War Memorial has an excellent database of photographs, film and other items. Here's the cost for photographs - there is a $29.70 fee to provide a large scan and here is the table of costs for use:
User fees for Photographs and Art works Organisation User Fee (per image) Schools, RSL Branches and Australian Defence Force* No charge Type of Use User Fee (per image) Commemorative Event No charge Publication (except cover), Exhibition or Public Display, News or Current Affairs $33.00 Broadcast Television, Merchandise or Internet $95.15 Advertising, Publication or Book Cover $220.00 Moving footage is on a different scale ranging from $11 per second (plus transfer fees) for exhibition and public display (Australia only) to a whopping $550 PER SECOND  for worldwide advertising or music clip!All prices are in $A.
