The picture below is an Australian built workshop body as fitted to a C60L , these bodies were made at Fishermans Bend at Port Melbourne , GMH Plant.
This has the wooden sides and tail gate ( drop down benches ) removed , the canvas sides were extra long and long spikes were carried to prop the edges of the canvas up so as to give more protection from the weather. This particular one was a tyre repair unit . The wood used was Tasmanian Oak which unfortunately the white ants liked ( termites ).
