The colours look to be a very weathered top coat of fire engine red probably from use in a bush fire brigade, then the main visible colour, a sort of yellow is actually weathered khaki. As as Australian built truck it would not have seen Western Desert use. The lack of a deep bronze green layer indicate disposal before the Army started to use that colour as a low maintenance gloss finish as vehicles required painting post-war. All the pics on the page came from Robert. You can see the cable release in the above self-portrait which is a gem. Perhaps it would be good to have all CMP owners take a similar pic of themselves with their truck for an eventual wall poster.
