Default Welding tip

Hi Bob

someone got a great haul......whooo CMP heaven.

I don't mind....it is 8hrs from here to Ottawa let alone jumping across the border....

Welding hint:

from what it sounds like you have to dissipate the heat quickly...I suggest you get a piece of copper plate and put it under the sheet metal. When you fill the hole the extra heat is drawn to the copper and keeps the bottom plate from melting through.

I hope this is a clear explanation.....I know what I mean, but sometimes it doesn't ttranslate well.
