Our greatest shame is perhaps that we refuse to accredit trained folks from afar (anyone from carpenters to doctors) without 'Canadian training'. It's idiotic; we let them in then make them drive cabs on the midnight shift, when they could be employing their skills in their chosen trades, to the advantage of all of us.

I have a distinct feeling that the West will break before Quebec. That would be the ultimate irony, but not surprising.

BTW, my company's call center is now in India. That should tell you something, and it's nothing against East Indians. Our world is slowly going nuts.

as for bio diesel, i was watching a documentary on cbs about how willie nelson set up a refinery and markets bio diesel fuel under the name bio willie. they use cotton seeds for their oil, and it gives the farmers a second crop. there is a guy down here that runs his jetta diesel on canola oil with no problems. mike
