The Verlinden set is probably the worst starting point (that's the one I used for the model for Hanno). It is 6mm too short and 2mm to narrow, turret ring way too small etc. etc.
The story is that S-model has copied (or partly copied) the Verlinden hull, so that one has problems too. There also used to be one from H&K or something. But, the story is that this one copied the flaws of the ones above. The Resicast Roo used to have some issues, but they are currently working on a fully new master. They are/were the only one to offer a Kangaroo with interior. The formations set is good indeed and they might just also do a Kangaroo. Alex
