I restored one back in 1988. Radials are obtainable and it's always better to stick to the original engine. If it has no engine currently, make sure you find a Sherman engine rather than a Hellcat engine as you will need all the Sherman specific parts. If it has an engine currently, then a Hellcat engine would give you important bits!

A relatively easy restoration and a very user friendly vehicle. You will be amazed how many new friends you have if you do it.
