Default Mk1 Carrier gauges.

Hi, I want to connect up my gauges so they work, The temperature gauge is a NOS carrier one and I have a NOS braided cable for it, Can anyone recommend a tapping point location for connection on an 8BA engine, is it designed to fit inside a thermocouple type pocket?. Also my current system is 12V positive earth.

The oil and ammeter gauges are also NOS and I want to run them on 12v positive earth, to get them to read correctly I am guessing I may need a dropping resistor in the circuit ?. Can anyone advise.

Also I want to purchase a refurbished 2 brush flathead generator, can anyone point me in the right direction?.

thanks kevin.
