Hello All,

it sold for somewhere between $1000-1600, I put an email bid of 950 on it mostly so the scrappies wouldnt get it, the diff would have been nice though! the other parts also sold, i was told it all went to someone around Lighting ridge.

Regards
Justin.

Hi guys new to the forum. I was the one that bought it. Yes the carrier now lives west of lightning ridge undergoing a full restoration . Currently replacing plates that have been removed in its life.

On another note, i have a spare bare diff if anyone is interested in swapping for other parts?

Will post pics soon.

Hull number is LPN02A 1824 FORD NSW

Regards, Nathan

Default Carrier #1824

Hi Nathan and welcome. Firstly data on your Carrier. It was built under Contract No. MON62 by Ford NSW (Homebush) in 1941/42. The original engine number was 1G6478F with the Army Registration Number (ARN) being C25469.

Of particular interest is that one of our forum members, Justin Pollard, possess a photograph of his grandfather posing with this Carrier during WW2.

You two need to network.

Bob
