This is not part of the recent quiz thread but something which has fascinated me a little over the years.
I was looking at this image of a cab 12 in Canada, which appears in the Ford at Reynolds thread And I notice the conduit on the mudguard (fender) for the side lights. Most of the cab 12s we have here in Australia don't have that, although I have seen some with it... I know the headlamps were fitted with a second bulb as a marking light but was wanting to know whether this was a factory modification and when it first appeared. Those with the conduit have cab 13 style side pinspot lights in the same brackets as cab 13s. I don't know whether they moved on to the pinspot type for the tail lights at that time too...
