Hi, I have recently found a 'package trunk' for my WLA. Have been told the army fitted them to their WLA on dusting side car frames. Have painted it because someone has painted with green house paint. There is olive drab underneath and has the writing on the bottom of the box which I have left as is. Does anyone know anything about the box or if the army used them? Photo?
Thanks Darren

The box appears to have been made at least partially from recycled materials.
3 Base Ordnance Depot was a large stores complex located in South Kensington. I grew up not far from there and remember a long line of DUKWs parked on the premises at one time. There were also Studebakers parked around the place. This would have been in the early 70s. David
