be nice if we could accually see the tag rather then a dark smudge in the background of a rather dark photo. Be better if you tidied the photos up so we can see them before you post them.

Default Mohawk

Hi,

Mohawk was an engine rebuilding plant located in Montreal. I remember the company from the seventies and eighties but they must have gone out of business years ago. This would mean that the engine in yor truck has been replaced by a rebuilt engine. The numbers on the tag are the engine number that Mohawk gave your engine and the sizes of the crankshaft journals and cylinders after the rebuild.

Standard engine rebuild tag.....

Cyl. bored .040 oversize.....main and rod bearings undersized at .010.

Anyone ave a pic of the Rare Ford running in water using the snorkle on the front cover of the Ford Wadeproof manual

Grant Bowker has that manual..
It is the only CMP manual I have ever seen with a colour cover..
I'm not sure if he can scan and post the picture..It is quite impressive..
