Default Transfer case boot

Hi Keith, just for reference, because my cunning plan was to see if your boots would interchange on the transfer case housing shifter. Someone else might have an original boot for this housing to clarify the different types?.Cheers Andrew .

Default Transfer case boot

Hi Andrew

Is your photo from a Chevrolet? It's different to the one in the FGT. The actual tower does not protrude a lot on the cab 13 - the cab 11/12 tower comes a lot further into the cab.

It was from a Ford, C29QR ( Rear engined Chassis ), but the tower is common on Fords I believe , but just mounted different in the rear engine chassis configuration, Andrew.

Andrew, there is a tower weather pad "C291QR 8111125.
Pad-transfer case shifter control tower weather" No other info.
I would assume "pad" means a flat item (leather?) as opposed to a rubber boot.

Default Intentions to order so far (as at July 17th)

I now have 50 orders - some have ordered more than one which is great.

I need 100 orders before I can justify hitting the go button so anyone else who is willing to order one please let me know.

Default Rubber gearshift boot

Hi Keith,

You know me! I am definitely in for one.
Glad to see you are pursuing its production. Here's to cracking 100 orders. Thanks again for that wiring sketch.

Cheers,

Jacques
