Default Rubber grease retainers- interchangeability

Hi Beau,

Again, referring to the 1940-1941 Parts Catalogue:
Part No. *CO1QF 3305 Tube- Steering gear drag link. It is shown to be the designated part number for all 4 x 4 models.

There is a separate part number for the drag link tube for model F8 and model F15 so it is likely they are of smaller diameter.

Drag link tubes for all models have the * in front of the part number indicating the part is unique to CMP vehicles.

Of course, parts lists have been wrong in the past. And so have I.

So going back to the original proposition if someone reproduced the rubber grease retainers they would fit 90% of the Ford CMP trucks still in existence.

Cheers
